I'm at work.
The Sikh Student Assocation is having a Bhangra Mix night in the Showroom and badass Indian music is filling the Union. When I stepped in earlier, they were playing remixed Panjabi MC. Two guys were breakdancing in front of Wendy's. Needless to say, I really wanted to fly into the posse of Indians and bust a groove.
They're playing New Order and NIN in the Underground. I need to run home and download every scrap of New Order on DC++ ASAP.
I'm reading Swedish and Arabic; Julian, Justyna and Ryan are or were in the Underground keeping me company.
Aside from possibly insulting Ryan, everything about tonight is pretty neat.
When I got on this computer and got on LJ, I saw Michael's post - but it was logged into Victor's LJ. Victor is a point of humor for me. I have his number in my phone, I've talked to him twice on the phone, I've subbed for him and he has thanked me profusely as a result. I have seen him at the club. I have passed him several times at work while I was off the clock and in plain clothes. We, as is the case with many gheiz, have a billion mutual friends.
...yet he has no idea who I am. It's entertaining.
I think I'll go support The Man and get some Whendeez.
Cheers,
Taiv.
