The cycle of change
Am quitting smoking, again, starting today.
Had a very powerful speaker in class today from Roca, based in Chelsea, which is an organization for youth outreach. She talked a lot about understanding the stages of change, and how it applies to virtually everything we do. Loved her, felt empowered, passionate. I'm changing all the time now, which has its pros and cons.
I love school, even though it's wearing me down to the bone. I work all the time, and pretty much don't take any time off unless I'm being dragged off my computer, but it's great.
What else? Going to one of my sisters' engagement party tomorrow in LI. Should be fun. Two more papers due in the near future. Back to work!
