First official job rejection. I figured as such when I saw the job I applied for re-posted today, two weeks after it closed and disappeared from USAJobs.
I've got other applications out there, but the first serious rejection hurts an awful lot. Why am I not good enough? I'm totally qualified - I have done and can do everything they asked for.
Oh, that's right. They want someone less qualified that they can pay less. So much for the increasing professionalization of my job.
