Saturday I took the 105 f2.5 AI lens out for a walk around the property.
There are some weeds in the pasture that grow these odd looking seed pods.
When the plant dies (or goes into hibernation) the leaves shrivel and turn brown and the pods split open.
Some creeping vine has turned from green already.
I don't think this pumpkin is going to make it before the freeze.
