"It's abusive to--" lists never quite work.

Trying to drag my mind away from the fact that more Guardian columnists think I should kill myself for whatever reason (long/short: improperly-defined list items failing to understand nuance etc don't really work in my favour, ever, and I'm very tired of People).

YESTERDAY

Gym induction and running OK. Editing OK. Writing OK. Reading in ye Goddamn Bath OK - why did it take these morons half a book to decide to kill their friend, I would have killed him in the first fucking chapter and LET ME TELL YOU I'd have a better plan as well. Useless idiots!.

TODAY

Having thankfully sorted iPod woe due to generosity of Nice Friend I have to go pick up my replacement from Nice Friend, once I've finished writing/editing - which I am not currently doing, whoops - and then on to non-drinks "drinks" with different group of friends. Contemplating whether I should go to the George Michael tribute night at Duckie regardless of any company as Jess is out with work friends tonight and Lindsay is out with his girlfriend and I have no great desire to mope around the flat until kingdom come when I could be dancing to WHAM with bears.

Gym: day 2 of week 1 of Couch to 5k COMPLETED, also pointless pretend bike ride which unfortunate accompaniment of Very Fit Man doing chin-up burpees next to me. People keep hallooing at me about the joys of Free Weights, apparently unaware that I have no idea how to do anything remotely related to this, my gym is full of people who REALLY LIKE THE WEIGHTS BENCHES, and I am utterly loath to speak to anyone while in that place because really no. No talking. Leave me to fail in peace.

to do, health, writing, editing
