Ongoing birthday:
posh dinnerposh outfitgifts minus the bath bomb of SUPREME GLITTER which i am excited to ever be able to use (tomorrow - the 2nd - marks 2 weeks since surgery which means only about 4 weeks until i can HAVE A BATH and hopefully BURN THIS FUCKING BINDER)
Halloween:
went for a walk on hampstead heath. immediately got lost, then found, then found the men's swimming pond (plans for when i can go in water again), then met a massive dog called nelson who wouldn't stop barking. also found a halloween event that still had spaces left, yelled at emma about itm and made her buy tickets for us both.
went into central london and accidentally bought more sunglasses because i only have six pairs. yes.
this is called a matcha heaven. it was after much pottering i collapsed in a chair in waterstones and complained about how tired i was for a while;
london was beautiful, etc.
Met up with Emma, found our tour, had GOOD HOKEY GHOST FUN with some history bits thrown in,
Emma is sceptical about the demonisation of Isabella and we decide that the various female ghosts wronged by men should not fight each other but instead form a vengeful dead feminist squad and bring justice to the afterlife;
cock lane (and Scratching Fanny), and then the tour ended at ...
one of the locations from
brown bread boys. Emma was
impressed.
by the time I got home it was gone ten, I was starving enough that consuming 14-hour multiple-chilli gumbo seemed like A Good Idea (my sinuses are now wonderfully clear so perhaps it was), I am still fucking exhausted NOW though.
ANYWAY, I've discharged the requisite first 5k of NaNo (badly); I've got a couple of hours before today's entertainment (HUNTERIAN MUSEUM PICKLING DEAD THINGS AWWWW YEAH) and I'm quite tempted to waste some of my remaining hours of daylight by sleeping more. Probably shouldn't though.
