At 10:50AM 28/11/2015 I finished the first draft of "Heavy" at 170,000 words. This is the twelfth full-length manuscript I've completed.
And now I'm going to make Christmas booze and indulge in a fully-fledged panic about:
1. Going back to work on Monday and the month's worth of emails I will have to trawl through and whether I've forgotten how to do my job.
2. Going to Exeter the week after and all the documents I will have to take and finding the place and somehow managing to be a convincing human trans male AGAIN to YET ANOTHER entirely new set of people who have versions of what I've said before that I can't fully remember.
3. Taking care of my new tattoo and when I can make another appointment to continue with it:
(I was there for nine hours. Four of planning, sketching, positioning, composition, and discussion, five of tattooing. Entirely too many episodes of Peep Show, mitigated a little by being A: bought dinner and B: given weed).
4. Literally everything to do with transitioning and money ever.
5. Oh god I've edited nothing hurry UP
6. The entire real world which I now cannot ignore any longer
