A BLANKET MADE OF SOFT, AND SOME MYRRH <3 thank you amy_wolf!

The post has been kind and also brought me a card and some second-hand replies from Richard Adams, which belonged to Francis's uncle and which he thinks I would appreciate. I do. So that's good.

Our TV has returned but due to the only person who knows how to set it up being at boot camp, it's still not actually TV-ing. I'm moving away from being particularly bothered about this.

Watched Cucumber at Ruthi's, whence it has rammed itself into my brain and won't leave despite the writing being 4000000% RTD having a midlife crisis in the same vein as QAFUK, despite the protagonist being not exactly a villain but pretty heavily unlikeable, despite Manchester frankly looking like a fucking pit, despite all. At least I can be grateful to be a) well shot of the gay scene and b) in London. Scenes in general breed a kind of hideous self-important gullibility thanks to their insular and self-rewarding ballcrack NONSENSE. Also Ruthi gave me tomatoes so basically I am the winner.

So far today I've: not gone running on a spurious pretext, then compounded it by not walking enough due to feeling like unmerciful death, made some spectacularly ugly cakes, completely fucked up some cookies, and am now in the process of murdering pig foot soup. Also wrote 1,900 of crap fanfic, which is about 2000 words less than I wanted to write but still 1900 words more than I was expecting to.

Ear is very definitely very infected, it hurts to touch, the side of my face hurts, and it's starting to hurt to swallow. Maybe I should make a doctor's appointment or something? Just to get some antibiotics or whatever so that I can continue in my quest to breed totally antibiotic-resistant bacteria by having ENDLESS ear infections.

What do I even do about this awful pair of ears besides having them scooped out and turned into terrariums?

Also I made some t-shirts:

The Unicorn In Captivity, La Bête de la Mer, Bayeux 1, The Demon of Calicut.

clothes, weekend, captain fail of faildonia, health, the ongoing phobia of doctors, links
