Suicide pros and cons:
Pros:
Won't have to get up tomorrow or indeed ever again
Will not need to apply for new job
Won't have to wrestle with the NHS on two fronts while trying to conceal one from the other
Shan't need to come out to anyone
Will be classed as a sad trans statistic so no one will feel responsible
People might feel guilty enough to actually read my books
Everyone is required to be briefly pleasant about the dead
I won't be tired any more
All fears about the ongoing annihilation of the society in which I live by people who are interesting in exploiting everyone and everything for short-term gain will be rendered irrelevant
I will not need to speak to another human being ever again
My headache will go away
The week-long periods will finally stop
My girlfriend won't be able to fucking jilt me in favour of work drinks ever again
Neither will my boyfriend be able to consistently rank rollerderby as more important than me
No one will complain about my choice of metaphors where I have to respond to them
It literally will not matter if the sun never rises again
Never again will I have the joyous experience of watching someone violently reining in all the mean shit they want to say because they "value my friendship" when it is patently fucking untrue and really they're just scared of confrontation and think I'm mental enough to physically hurt them.
Cons
Won't get to actually see people feel briefly guilty for being massive shitheads
Will become Just Another Trans Statistic
Currently my corpse will not be attractive enough to inspire mortuary misdoings
Dead people can't throat-punch idiots who might otherwise go their entire life thinking they're immune to reprisals
People least responsible would feel most guilty
People most responsible would feel least guilty
Dead people cannot go to quiet places outside the city and enjoy not having to look at anyone.
