I saw Pride last night, here is a blog post about it:
Pride: There Is Power In The Union
I have a lot more feelings about it than that but I'm going to wait until they're actually coherent before I write about them. The short version is that this plus some paintings I was looking at have somehow rendered me acutely nostalgic for the pre-internet world, despite my near-total lack of friends, freedom, and information in that period. I just want to live in the version of history where I could go down rivers on boats with the friends I didn't actually have, and everyone I knew as a child wasn't a screeching disappointment with no imagination, and that I didn't feel compelled to report my every movement to the internet audience for fear of it never having happened.
Also I want to go abseiling.
