After two months of messing me about, the company I was supposed to be temping for have put the "project on hold indefinitely" so it's back to the job search and my god my bank account is ugly.

Hello I am in Australia, I saw a kookaburra from the train, this country is magnificent and enormous.

I keep making plans to leave the house and not actually succeeding and then ending up chronically bored round about this time every day.

Visited the Shakespeare exhibition at the British Museum today, which had some fascinating & to me at least quite eye-opening contextualisation of his work, including how the issues of the day affected the individuals around at the time and to what extent they were permitted to engage with them.
