The Moscow Circus are up in Alexandra Park again, which will make walking through said park to drop things at New!Flat all the more interesting, no doubt. I've realised this is an annual event, it is Just That Time Of Year when the Circus is in town. Or park.
The curry house I apparently live upstairs from now has a Sunday lunch special of £6.95. I strongly advise everyone who visits me in future to take advantage both of this and of the fact that New!Flat has a sofa big enough to sleep on.
In other news which isn't moving house: WARGH WRITING IS HARD AND EVERYTHING I WRITE SUCKS.
How to write a novel
Want to write but can't: Angry and depressed!
Am writing: Tired and shouty but generally okay
Editing: I WANT TO KILL MYSELF.
Marketing: No I flatly refuse.
Basically because I hate editing so much that by the time the book is "finished" (i.e. I cannot physically stand to look at it any more and will actually slash my own wrists if I have to so much as look at the title page) there is no way on God's green earth I'm going to be capable of enthusing about it to agents, publishers, or potential buyers. "HI I WROTE A BOOK!" Can't do it. Too busy thinking "I FUCKING HATE THIS BOOK". Doesn't matter how good the book is or how much I loved writing it, or how attached I became to the characters. HATE BOOK. WRITER SMASH.
Also poetry month is already grating because work & housemoving and bluuuuuuuuuuh.
i'll have you know i'm a bloody writer,
writers are the opposite of people,
living situation,
writing,
queeny writer tantrum,
