at some point i have to get my shit together sufficiently and apologise to a lot of people. this is kind of a placeholder apology until i've stopped trying to respond to every social interaction with screaming at barking at people.

You know, very randomly, the link you posted on FB reminded me of the fact that the best fictional description I've ever read of autism was a bloody fan fic. This makes me a bit sad.

Also; art! Very very good art, even. Though I'm a little sad you're quitting nr 2. And you look very good in Fe. (Iron(oxide) I assume, or are you making a completely different parallel here?)

I'm not quitting it, I've just lost interest in it for the time being. I'm sure I'll change my mind later. [And yes, that's exactly what I meant: "Fe is the atomic symbol for iron; iron oxide covers the surface of Mars, giving it its distinctive colour, and Mars is the God of War. Yours truly was in a foul mood and listening to “Cosmos” in an attempt at soothing, and this sort of happened."]

Sad but I guess not all that surprising. :(

Ha, cool. You know, 'fe' is also the swedish word for fairy. Which, given the original photo, seems rather appropriate too.

It was a pretty good fic though, very long and not very, well, fic-y. Lots of character building, and the main characters didn't get together until like nine tents through. Maybe the author will end up getting published, one day.

Huh, I wonder if that's where "fey" in English comes from, or if that's from feée, which is French for Fairy...

That *would* be the appropriate reward for them writing well, wouldn't it? Hey ho.

Yeah, yeah, I know... and with the shit that do get published, you loose a little bit of hope in humanity.

...huh, James Marsters on tv as NY cop. In a brown suit. Not a good look on him.

'Without a trace' Another one of my procedural dramas. Though I quit follow this one years ago, which must be why I missed his character, he seems to be recurring.

It probably is, it's running on telly now so it got to be a rerun. I used to like it during the first two seasons or so, very slashy back then.

And it's a vaguely crime procedural show, and I know those are like fucking catnip to you. ;)

Yes! I haven't seen them in ages. There's four now, I think. We could have a marathon. Or construct a drinking game.

I'm going to suggest "every time I want to shout 'this is dementedly implausible'" as a drinking opportunity, and "every time I secretly decide this is OUR FUTURE". :D
