Brown and fleece and oh god please excuse me for a moment whilst I have a melt down.

(I too have 4 different pairs of docs, but in my defence 2 are pretty girly pairs. If you count my sandals that's 5...)

My love affair with DMs is such that I feel I need a Doc Marten icon or something. And I have NO DEFENCE. They are ALL 14-hole Docs. Two of them are virtually identical except for the stitching and the leather quality (one pair are Soliwear and the other are cheaper DMs which already have cracks in the leather) and then there's the skelebones ones and the silver moonboots and I went round the entire store poking other Docs and I WANT THE BROWN TRIUMPHS, OKAY, I REALLY REALLY FUCKING WANT THEM.

Goddamn lack of employment. RIBBONS, M. THERE ARE RIBBON LACES. Triumphs with the fold-down tops and HRRNGH.

My only defence is that mine are different.

Classic black ankle boots, some T bar sandals, red shin high ones with zips on the sides of the laces. (A personal favourite find in TK maxx, £15), black pull on ladylike ones I got from my mum, and brown lady ones I bought with my student loan.

And yet, they're so lovely.

The silver ones sound amazing.

TK Maxx, you say? Normally I go in there hunting for Ugly Trainers, but if they also do Fuck Cheap Doc Martens I think I may have to drag myself to Wood Green and hunt some out. THANK YOU FOR THAT TIP.

[My boyfriend will hate you. Because, you know, it's not like there's a lot of room in the house around my shoes as it is...]

Oops, Sorry Mr Del :)

They sometimes do yes, I bought some in the one in Cov, and even though they are a touch on the big side for me, being a 7 when (for some reason) I take a 6 in docs It doesn't matter.

I may have to go a trawling again, because i'm really lusting after some patent cherry red ones in the shoe shop on the way to uni, and I DO NOT HAVE £60
