So, some big events occurred in my life:
I graduated on Sat. May 15th. It wasn't too torturous, kinda cool actually. It still hasn't hit me that I am officially out of college (though it doesn't mean that I won't be going back someday...) My grandparents, parents, little brother, and Erin were all there. It was good, but I'm glad it's over. I will miss everyone though *sob* (yeah, see those tears rolling ;)
*Also got to hang out with
the dude (good seeing you again, even if you did briefly forget about me graduating), Butterworth, and my crush boy Brian on Thursday. The Butterman and Brian both graduated with me too. I heart Brian! He's a doll ;) It's too bad it took a whole semester for us to finally get together. I am trying to convince him to stay up in Erie and get a job. I mean, really, who wants to live in Oil City anyways? Hickville I tell you ;)
And here's the irony of it all. On the same day I graduated from college, I went to high school prom!!! Now, before you say anything, and yes, I know what you're going to say, I am perfectly aware of how old I am!...but hear me out. First of all, Dave R. from work asked me, and he's the sweetest guy you'll ever meet. Second of all, I went to a private school, which did not have a prom. I dated someone all through high school, and so could not go to a public school prom. Basically, I never got to go to prom, and I finally got one last chance. I had asked a lot of people about it, and everyone said the same thing: "Who cares, just go!" So, yeah, I had a good time. I saw a lot of people I knew from work, had some good Italian food at this super nice restaurant which I will forever never remember the name, got some good pics (although the meet-the-parents thing was completely embarassing for both of us), and danced the night away. Dave was a perfect gentleman by the way ;) Honestly, it was great, but I would never do it again *grin* It's more hassle than I realized.
Well, that's about it. Going golfing with Carrie tomorrow (no rain please), then driving to Columbus to visit Dad, and also might see
the dude whilest I'm there. Next week I'm moving in with Erin til my other place gets situated.
