LOL... i hate remakes too.

What's next a Buffy Remake for TV? Oh wait they are kinda doing that with Vampire Diaries.

No but I hear they are better than Twilight LOL sorry I know you liked Twilight. But I heard way more positive responses about the Vampire Diaries, than Twilight LOL

Your not weird, you just enjoy good books. Sometimes people who read books take them seriously, instead of enjoying them for what they are.

I still plan on watching Vampire Diaries, cause I need my vamp fix. LOL
