Oh this is the funniest thing.
In about 24 hours or so in Geneva, they are going to switch on the Large Hadron Collider, which is supposed to make atoms crash into each other and pretty much recreate the Big Bang Theory. There are a few people that are worried this means that the Earth will be blown up/swallowed by a black hole/destroyed.
