Soo..... if I wanted to watch the Chanel No 5 ad which I keep missing on tv.... where on earth could I download it from?

(god, I cant' believe I want to download a COMMERCIAL!! haha)

(and I slept in today, mwhahahaa)

While I'm here... am I really out of it, or does the word "Pimp" have other meanings besides being the boss of prostitutes?

You can find it by using p2p (peer to peer) programs such as Morpheus, etc. The most common one seems to be a 50 meg download so you can either let your modem tick over for quite awhile downloading it, or find somebody with ADSL and a flashdrive to get you a copy.

I've got ADSL, but no flash drive.

And hey... considering the age of this post you probably have it already.

I only managed to get a copy just last weekend and watched it on Sunday... no luck understanding what Nic and the Guy were saying to each other but it was still fairly enjoyable. Will have to wait for it on DVD so I can have subtitles ;)

Anyway, how are you? I noticed a comment on Kristy's post that you're having trouble with work?
(or you can email me I guess, this is a public post after all... even if it is a fairly old one)

You were supposed to check out my LJ MONTHS ago to see my cool Calvin moods... aren't they cool? :P

I was having some personal problems with the guy simply due to how he assigned extra duty shifts that were available for a specific job. I'd been asking for shifts for this particular job for awhile now, and I am more than qualified to do it.

When a whole hog of shifts came available he allocated them out "first come first serve" which of course was biased towards everyone except those on duty with him that day. 16 shifts were up for grabs, 10 of which went to two people that had only recently come to the place.

On a matter of principle I was going to put in a grevious report to the office based on lack of fair "work allocation and development opportunities" but something else has come up which I cannot get into, and because of this I will sit back and see how the dust settles first.

Well I'm very surprised you are talking about work (I thought that wasn't allowed?). Doesn't sound too good.

Probably more surprised that you read my lj and left a comment.. especially considering our last communication... so out of curiosity, any particular reason for that? (obviously not to comment on how cool my Calvin mood theme is, lol)

Well as to talking about my work? What I've said isn't anything to do with the client, or the places operations, so I'm not in any breach of my contract and clearance. Of course my employer itself wouldn't like it that much but hey, gripes are gripes... I don't have any particular gag order not to bitch about them :)

As to why I looked up your journal? I was speaking to Kat a few days ago and she asked me if your lastest entry (the one about somebody telling you not to write certain things as to remind of the past) was about me. I told her 'No' as I had not read your journal for many months if not a year. Out of curiousity I looked up the entry, read peoples comments, and thought that since I wasn't on your friends list there wouldn't be many entries I could read anyway... so I read them.

And lastly the entry I replied to was a relatively simple request that I could have helped with. I would only have been a matter of whether the help would have been appreciated or not.

The post was about users asking other users to delete old entries, rather than writing posts about the past. It WAS directed at someone but it wasn't about me.

On the same day you commented, another person who isn't talking to me also commented... I (pathetically) thought it was an attempt to get in contact again so I made an overture of friendship only to be told it was a waste of time to build burnt bridges. I couldn't see the point in commenting if that is the case. I think I was more curious to know if this situation was the same (ie, the waste of time), especially as you aren't picking up my (probably pathetic) attempts of being humorous.

(*I* think the Calvin Mood theme rocks. I spent hours and hours doing it and other people actually use it!)

Who wasn't talking to whom? As far as I recall you are the one who stopped talking to *me* :P

And yes the Calvin theme is very good (from what I've seen on your posts that I *can* see). All it really proves is that you have *way* too much time on your hands :P

And yeah I can see your view... What is the point of coming out of the blue abyss to comment if they weren't intending for any meaningful communication?

Oh I'd just like to say that you have inspired me. I have the intention of pulling up a large amount of the paved area out the back and attempt to grow grass :)
