So, I'm seventeen now. I don't feel older, but it sure sounds older. This weekend was amazing.
Friday night, I was accompanied to Surin by some of my best friends. Thank you guys for a crazy night, and not to mention good food.
Saturday was my birthday. I went to drama, then pizza with my second family. When I got home, my parents said they had a suprise for me. They took me to pick out one of

An Alvarez acoustic!
I was not expecting this AT ALL. Needless to say, I was extremely excited.

Sunday was probably the best day of all. Jason Upton came to play at church, and it was...wow. No words can describe what went on that night. Jesus showed up in a powerful, powerful way. Three thousand young people just going after God with all their might, literally. Goodness.

It's amazing how much doesn't really matter in the whole scheme of things. Situations we dwell upon, stressors that won't matter in a month. A prom date? A big test? A bad hair day? An unnesessary comment or look made by someone? Psh. Who cares? Why get worked up over something that you won't remember in six months anyway? I don't really know where that came from...

Change? Yeah, it's coming. Be ready Hewitt, Trussville, Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama, United States, North America, Western Hemisphere, Earth, Milky Way.

This world has nothing for me; I will follow You.
