I've never really been one for resolutions. I'm not sure I ever really saw the point in them. I shouldn't need a big momentous occasion like the calendar changing to the next year to provide motivation to better myself. On certain things, like losing weight and getting in shape, I've actively avoided making resolutions, because those always seem to fail the most. There's only one time I made a resolution in recent years.
But...based on that one...I should probably make more. It turned out pretty well.
So, I guess I'll make a few. Check back in 365 to see what happened.
1. Be a good husband and father.
--This one is kind of obvious, as that's something I strive for on a daily basis.
2. Eat better, get healthy, get in shape, lose weight.
--This is something I've been wanting to do for over 10 years now. Started and stopped countless times. That changes in 2019.
3. Write more
--this encompasses a few different kinds of writing. I love writing, and I always try to make time to do it. It just never works out.
I'm sure I can think of more, but I'll keep it simple for now.
