Roderich sighed, squinting at the bright sunlight on the beach he had found himself walking along once he had left the forest behind. It was actually rather nice and surely would have made an excellent tourist destination, even though it seemed rather deserted at the moment. The pipe he had found in his bag was slung over one shoulder and the bag over the other as the Austrian looked around him, wary of anyone else that might have found their way here. Pleasant the beach might be but it also afforded very little cover should there be anyone looking for an easy first target.
Roderich sat beneath a tree near the edge of the beach, not a palm, but not a species he recognized either, and spread out the map. It was relatively easy to pinpoint where he was, the green was obviously forest and since he was no longer in the forest and still on the coast that only left one option. He looked at the map again and cursed. No, two options, but he didn't think that he was in the little bit of tan between the arms of forest. At least, he couldn't see forest further along... Not that he knew the scale of this blasted map... it seemed as though it was almost designed to be just useful enough to be nearly useless. He scowled and put the map back in his bag, standing up to continue his walk. Either way traveling along the beach would get him out of their start point and that was the important part. He simply had to hope that anyone else he encountered wasn't of a mind to kill him immediately and be done with it. Neutral though he may be he had no intention of making it too easy for anyone to take him down.
