Summary: England catches up with America and perhaps Seychelles, talking about the situation.
England hurried as fast as he could while still keeping his calm appearance. The gun he had found in his bag already secured, tucked in the front of his belt as he walked. America had already sent him a message to meet up and he planned to do so quickly. The familiar sea air was comforting at least. An island was where he was most comfortable...but because it was defensible. With his navy no one could have touched him without suffering the full force of its power. But now the enemies were on the island and suddenly it made him feel...trapped. Large numbers...England felt comfortable in large numbers regardless of their strength or skill. Perhaps he was making a mistake, spreading out his hand too far as he had as an empire.
Well...I'll find out soon enough.
England truly had no intention of winning this game. Surviving. Enduring. Lasting. Maybe living long enough to see someone he lo-...cared for. Standing in the spot of champion. Japan, America, Seychelles, Canada....hell even France if it came to it. He felt a slight burn in his chest, what if what if...what if I was champion. The pirate in him seethed, excitement instead of anxiety pumping through his veins.
No...no. I don't need to win this. I don't need to prove anything to anyone.
That idea alone relaxed his pulse to a quiet thudding, the sight of gold in front of him, the familiar shoulders and the tip of nantucket slightly visible over the American's head. England smiled faintly for a moment and sent him a message.
[txt2America] Hold up you git. I'm trying to catch up!
As always...ha.
His smile had the ghost of a fathers affection in it. An emotion that had not been given a chance to surface in their world. But here it was different. For some reason the desire to protect and to assist was overflowing any desire to destroy and compete. But...FRANCE was GOING down. The kraut too if it came to it. Prussia, and Denmark....England shrugged. But FRANCE. FRAAANCE. He would never lose to him! He just hoped Seychelles wouldn't be in the way of that...he had promised to keep her safe and-well bugga if that meant leaving France alone then at least he had a good excuse for putting up with that Frog.
