I think I'm sort of going after something about the differences between being a human and a nation. And how would characters react to suddenly becoming a nation/possibly other nations reacting to a human becoming a nation.
Bonus if the character doesn't exactly get what they've become at first. Like Alfred F. Jones noticing his inhuman strength and coming to the conclusion that he has become a superhero, Feliciano and Lovino Vargas thinking that they've been possessed by the Devil, Arthur Kirkland suspecting it has something to do with the fairies etc.

THE BACKSTORY:
Old General "Winter" Braginsky, a homesteader out in Hetalia, dies. Thing is, the once successful homestead has gone to the ground in recent years, and his two daughters can no longer keep it afloat. They call back their brother Ivan, who had left Hetalia years ago after a disagreement with their father, to take over the homestead.
Ivan left Hetalia when he was quite young and when there wasn't much of a town other than a general store and post office. That was then. Now, Hetalia is a bustling and growing town full of colorful characters, from the sheriff and his men, to the attractive infuriating girl at the saloon and her schoolmarm twin.
REQUIREMENTS AND PAIRINGS:
Any pairing, from het to yaoi to yuri to threesomes, whatever the filler wants. Anon would like some Russia/Fem!America, but that's just because the OP is a diehard R/A fan.
Human names preferred. If making one up (because the character does not have a canon one), please make a note of it! If someone wants to change someone's job, please say so!

Anon would like to see Turkey versus America, based on the movie "Hidalgo" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hidalgo_(film)). Basic plot outline: The mustangs are targeted to be exterminated like in the movie. America, still wracked with guilt over Wounded Knee, is invited to the 'Ocean of Fire' - a grueling race over the Arabian deserts. He agrees, and goes with his mustang.
There, he faces scorn from Turkey (and whoever else). Other nations there (England for example) think America is an idiot for even trying with a 'mongrel horse'. But America really believes in his mustangs... All the same, the race almost finishes him multiple times. He keeps going, he and his horse finally collapsing near the end, when he receives a vision from his first people (his mother maybe??) that inspires him. Cue the people of the horse quote above. America ditches the saddle, riding bareback to win the race against a disbelieving Turkey.
In the end, America uses the money from winning the race to save the mustangs.

Now, Hetalia is a bustling and growing town full of colorful characters, from the sheriff and his men, to the attractive infuriating girl at the saloon and her schoolmarm twin.
REQUIREMENTS AND PAIRINGS:
Any pairing, from het to yaoi to yuri to threesomes, whatever the filler wants. Anon would like some Russia/Fem!America, but that's just because the OP is a diehard R/A fan.

Anon would like to see Turkey versus America, based on the movie "Hidalgo" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hidalgo_(film)). It doesn't have to take EVERYTHING from the film -- all that crap with rescuing the girl and all that can be left out. I want to see America being challenged to participate in the 'Ocean of Fire' race from the movie, with Turkey as his main opponent. I want it to include the bit about America being descended in part from Native America (ala movieHopkins), and it MUST have lots of horse love.
Want to see this bit definitly:
Turkey: "Can you see it, cowboy? It is the ocean. It is only Sadiq now,
cowboy. You were defeated before this race began. You will not defeat me. I am born of a great tribe, people of the horse."
America: *gritting teeth, he and horse getting back up* "So am I."
Bonus for including England as betting his horse against America's like the Lady Davenport (ie. he's the horse's owner but no the rider).
Basic plot outline: The mustangs are targeted to be exterminated like in the movie. America, still wracked with guilt over Wounded Knee, is invited to the 'Ocean of Fire' - a grueling race over the Arabian deserts. He agrees, and goes with his mustang.
There, he faces scorn from Turkey (and whoever else). Other nations there (England for example) think America is an idiot for even trying with a 'mongrel horse'. But America really believes in his mustangs... All the same, the race almost finishes him multiple times. He keeps going, he and his horse finally collapsing near the end, when he receives a vision from his first people (his mother maybe??) that inspires him. Cue the people of the horse quote above. America ditches the saddle, riding bareback to win the race against a disbelieving Turkey.
In the end, America uses the money from winning the race to save the mustangs.
