We don't have speakers on the PCs at the zoo, so I don't know what he's saying, but check out this guy who taught a box turtle to "do tricks"
This turtle can do dog tricks!
I think that I could get hippo to do it if I wanted to. She will sprint at me, try to eat my hand, and bite any human flesh that comes near her. Are those tricks?
Had a job interview today. I'm excited to hear back, but don't totally think I'll get it. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Doing a "ZooMobile" today where we go out to a school with animals and a program. 7th graders are so fun. I'm excited.
Last night I drank wine and watched trashy TV on an old timey set. And I got closer to finishing my hat. Tomorrow is the West Egg Xmas party and I'm going for the free stuff. Thursday I'm sewing with Sheena. Drunk sewing.
This past weekend was the zoo party and hoooo boy was that fun. I love any opportunity to see "colleagues" make themselves look silly. I think they put something in the air ducts because everyone was ridiculously excited. Maybe they were all just drunk, but hey, we had fun. I gotta locate some pics.
Other than these things.... teaching camp next week, then going to SoFlo, but not before I celebrate one year with RDM. It has been unbelievable what's changed this past year and how our relationship has evolved but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I am blissfully happy. So we get to have super cute low-budg anniversary, and then I get to go to Xmas with the rents. I'm excited to see the fam. Mom and I are going to IKEA and shit because she needs girly fun. Plus I'm going to see Nato, Liz, Rachel, and hopefully Dan n' Sammy. Who else is going to hang out?
