You know. Every so often I have to stop and think about the canon this kid's pulled from. And the sheer levels of Messed Up never really cease to amaze me. I hope Yoko Matsushita found a therapist after she quit writing new bits.
(
In which I ramble far too much about a fictional character with an incomplete canon )
* Wait, you did? HOW? XD Get out of my head. And yeah, he was born in 1980, right? I KNOW I read that somewhere. >.<
* THINK HAPPY THOUGHTS AT ALL TIMES. :| Actually, don't. XD Hijiri tried that for like a week and it pissed him off.
* Oh man THANK YOU for that random knowledge of manga details. XD This is why I wanted you to read this! Also what the hell, he reads old Norse? ...I don't understand. Hisoka is such a Stu. XD
* Wait go back --I should know this, but he gets emotional overload from food? I'm so lost. Hisoka why are you a princess. /thumbs through manga
* The hedgehog is partly because of the cute! But also because as a spirit animal, it's a symbol of self-preservation. Some summaries also mention that spiritual hedgehogs have an aspect of resurrection, which makes me laugh because lol dead. XD And they're mostly spiky but have a furry, cuddly underbelly if you can get them to trust you, and I found it to be an adorable connection. :3

*I think it was either written somewhere, or some fans did the math. He was so and so old when he died, Tsuzuki was born at that year... etc. Or I might be inside your mind right now. <.< Uh, I MEAN.
*Thinking happy thoughts all the time must feel like being lied to, by an empath.
*Actually the Icelandic language at that time was a mix between Norwegian and English. If he can struggle through English, he MIGHT have a shot at reading those./geeeking (I just wonder where the heck he found it. He never mentions it, he just carries it around and lets the title be obviously visible in regular, English letters, IN CASE anyone in the office knows a second language.)
*Although I'm not sure how much I trust the Count's books, the Hisoka in there wouldn't eat certain foods because of the smell/taste of blood disgusted him, if I remember correctly. why so morbid, it is a fairy tale, Hisoka. And he also had a bad case of the crowd-sickness on the boat, which made him feel like throwing up instead of eating. But I didn't mean that he'd get emotional overload FORM the food. Unless they were trying to eat one of those roasted, alive fish-dishes, which just... no. Hisoka would feel ill, Tsuzuki would steal the fish and try to throw it into the water, yelling "you're free now!"
*Haha, I love it. The hedgehog comparition will now never ever leave my mind. But then again, it's like a cuddly version of Riko, and that's adorable. .....But how would Hisoka react if that was his patronus?
OH, I just remembered something! In the manga it was mentioned he was a bit OCDish, which I only remember because it made me laugh. Poor kid.

* AAHHH SCARY. :O /hides
* Agreed. Although if Hisoka had that big of a problem with false happiness, he probably wouldn't hang around Tsuzuki as much as he does, all things considered. XD
* Ahaha, or he just carries it around to look smarter than he is. I wouldn't put it past him. xD
* It's an interesting take, and I think I'm going to have to reread that to know for sure. xD I can see him being reluctant about eating things that used to be alive, though. HMM.
Oh, and DEFINITELY -- eating is off-limits around a big enough group of people. Nausea isn't the best of circumstances for having dinner.
* RIKOOOOOOOOOO~! I love Riko so much. <333 If Hisoka were to have a patronus that turned out to be Riko, he would lineface forever. xD And ask to return it for a better one.
Do you mean like clinical OCDish with rituals and stuff, or more like "maaaan he's a control freak -_-;"?
