1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
- tried Greek food
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't make resolutions, you just break them and disappoint yourself...
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes, one of my co-workers (who is also an old friend from high school)
4. Did anyone close to you die?
yes, my favorite uncle...Dale
5. What countries did you visit?
not a one...but I did go to Disneyland again! (took my 8 year old son for HIS first time)...We also visited San Diego and San Fransisco too!
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
- more money
- my own place to live again (hopefully that is happening BEFORE 2009 I go look at a new apartment in the morning)
7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
- September 5th, the day my bf arrived in Washington
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
- not really an achievement....but the bf decided to stay with me instead of going back to Cali!!!
9. What was your biggest failure?
- I don't really think i really had a "failure", but I did lose my medical in April
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
- just the normal stuff that goes w/ out having my medications
11. What was the best thing you bought?
- my CAR!! 1985 BMW 318i
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
- my bf, for wanting to be with me and my son and become the family we should have been...
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
- someone very close to me who has broken my heart multiple times over...
14. Where did most of your money go?
rent, buying my car, and fixing my car
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
- my bf deciding to NOT go back to Cali
- parent/school psycologist/teacher conference where I learned that not only does my son NOT have a learning disability (like we thought) but that he has a testing anxiety problem and is a HECK of a lot smarter than anyone was giving him credit for!!!
16. What song will always remind you of 2008?

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? more depressed, but I think that has more to do with not being able to accomplish what I want and not having my normal meds
ii. thinner or fatter? I don't think I have to answer this one for you to figure it out LOL
iii. richer or poorer? at the moment about the same, BUT will be poorer VERY soon until the bf gets a job
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
- gone on more trips as a family
- spent more time with Mike, MJ and their kids
- spent more time with my "future" father-in-law (I haven't agreed to marriage yet, but he is like family already)
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
- putting off medical issues
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
Hopefully I will be spending christmas in my new apartment with my family (even though we'll probably have lights on the wall in the shape of a christmas tree and only a couple presents for the kid LOL although I told him his new bed and room will be a christmas present!!)

well, technically no, I was already in love, it was just "long distance" love...

24. What was your favorite TV program?
- TRUE BLOOD!!!! HANDS DOWN
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
- one person in particular (and it takes a LOT for me to hate someone)
26. What was the best book you read?
hmmm...I just finished Twilight, that one was pretty good....Thinning the Heard was pretty good too....and I can't think of what else I read this year...

- Well, the actual day OF my birthday, I went and got my nails done, and got a FREE pedicure (love the receptionist at the beauty school!!)
- The weekend AFTER my birthday I "threw myself" a party by inviting a bunch of friends and co-workers out to drink with me (many who said they would be there)... and was STOOD up by ALMOST everyone...people are STILL on my shit list for that one!!
32.What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
if my bf had gotten a job right away after moving here (*sigh*)
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?
comfortable (w/ some attitude depending on the day) or "enough to get by" at work
34. What kept you sane?
my medication until April....and now I have my bf to help keep me in check (to the best of his abilities....poor thing)
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
hmmm...don't know if i have an answer for that one....well...mayby Julian McMahon (Dr. Troy from Nip/Tuck)
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
- the election and the whole gay marriage issue

- my bf until September
