I think we can take it as assumed that the characters participating in the thread on this morning's post would continue on to installing their technobabble doohickey immediately and not, say, wait for 24 hours. So, despite vague and dire pronouncements made to some of you last night (when it didn't occur to us that, durr, the characters would probably go ahead and install the thing immediately anyway), this event is essentially at an end, and ended in a situation we had not quite anticipated. :DD ...If, indeed, it can ever really be at an end, as of course the repercussions are ongoing; nonetheless, we don't have any more mod posts scheduled for the immediate future.
