Amplirecathon!
I am thinking thinky thoughts about what my thematic recs will be. It's very exciting! (um, the 'thon, not my thinky thoughts. well, hey, maybe those *are* exciting, *you* don't know! :P)
You can also sign up on Dreamwidth here -- don't worry if the days have filled up before you get there, muliple posts/day is encouraged, you will still be able to sign up, I promise. :D
(you'll notice *I* haven't signed up yet. that is because I am still waffling over going early or going later. [why is it called 'waffling'? what about it is 'waffley'? hmmm. I want to try using the term 'breakfast pastrying' from now on. is a waffle a pastry? OH GOD I NEED TO STOP THINKING ABOUT THIS]. partly because I don't know yet how many themes I will attempt. so...yeah. :/) ETA: I signed up for the 20th! \o/ Now I just have to make sure I have my shit together, lol.

Porn Battle IX
This is my favourite prompt challenge, and OMG NOW ON AO3 (if you want!), which, YAYAYAYAY. I mean, I love the PB website, on which I can browse previous battles and use ctrl+F to find characters and fandoms, but I really like AO3, and I love AO3 collections (Yuletiiiiiiide!), and I basically ♥ all of it, okay?

abbylee and I totally witnessed a bank robbery the other day!!
...okay, probably not really. She noticed the smashed window, and all the lights were on, and definitely the vault was wiiiiiide open, but we're pretty sure the guys wearing security uniforms with their security trucks were actual, you know, security people. Poking on the computers, inspecting the vault, etc. And they had been hanging around during business hours (ie: when I had arrived home from work), so if there *was* a robbery, it likely already had happened.
The guy with the drilling machine was a bit suspect, though. :O

The mysterious .eml attachments are still kind of mysterious.
catmoran is wise and told me that Thunderbird can open them, however I do not have Thunderbird and am not going to install it just for these.
I can only assume that some accursed Windows update has caused this sudden change in Outlook/Windows Mail forwarding behaviours, and I may have to visit both of my parents and poke at things on their stupid machines. Oh hey, actually, one might have been from my dad's *work* email, not home...although still Outlook, I can't exactly poke at that one. Hmmmm...

Southland (the first season is currently re-running on TNT, new season starts in March! WATCH IT PLEASE OMG)
Better Off Ted (hahahahahaha WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE, FOR SERIOUS, SO RIDICULOUS, EXACTLY WHAT I LOVE)
Friday Night Lights (I am not caught up, but god damn, it is an amazing show full-stop, I will recommend it sight season unseen)
AND THE 2 BEST SHOWS THAT I THINK ARE REALLY AWESOME BUT THAT YOU PROBABLY AREN'T EVER GOING TO WATCH (HATERS):
Wizards of Waverley Place (it is so charming and strange and I LOVE IT)
JONAS (WHATEVER, YOU GUYS, IT IS TOTALLY CRACKALICIOUS AND ADORKABLY AWESOME. I DARE YOU TO WATCH AN EP AND TELL ME IT WAS NOT AT THE VERY LEAST ~AMUSING~)
