When someone has known you for, oh, let's say your entire life - would you expect them to notice the big black apparatus on your face? Am I asking too much?

Christmas was full of good food and quite a few laughs (at Granny's expense, of course). There is some kind of creamed sweet potato with nut topping in my fridge now because no one seemed to like it but I thought it was really good. So Dad gave me half of what was left. AWESOME.

I now have every season of The X-Files. That is pretty awesome as well.

After telling my friend three times that my old room mate Jordan moved out in May, he continues to ask me about my two room mates. I'm beginning to think he's having me on.

My cousin has moved back to the city, and she wants me to get Facebook so we can keep in contact. Now, I have been against Facebook, quite adamantly, from the beginning because, let's face it, there are people out there whom I don't want to talk to and they will be able to find me. Is there some way to make your name unsearchable? Can I just say that my Facebook is 'family only' and then reject friendship requests from high school people without guilt and without making them hate me? DDD:

Everyone seemed to like the Monkey Bread I made for dessert (Oh, melagan! That was an awesome recipe, thank you! It was really easy and turned out really well! Even when I screwed it up a little! \o/), but people kept making a big deal about it, as if they were thinking, "Oh, Michelle has low self-esteem, so let's compliment her A LOT and make her feel good!" so I felt kind of awkward and embarrassed and like maybe they were lying about liking it. Um? *facepalm*
