A post by runpunkrun reminded me that I had wanted to let you all know about some more free music!
The Vancouver Sun and Nettwerk have made a mix album, Seriously West Coast Vol. 2, featuring such artists as Sarah McLachlan, Barenaked Ladies, and Martha Wainwright. And a bunch of other people, too, of course, but these were the ones I was interested in. Anyway, you can find it, free to download (only for the next day or so!), here.
Edit: I just realized how ridiculous it is that Martha is on this album. West coast? Seriously? Try Québec. Which is in the East. Although, listening to a Vancouver-based radio station today, it seems that they will call anyone who has ever lived in Vancouver a Vancouverite, so this is probably their thinking. I guess. *eyebrow*

The other day, Favourite Gay Barista and Built Like A Line-Backer Barista were carolling at the entrance to their store. With a guitar and sheet music and everything! It made me smile, so I thought I would share.

I had wanted to do a whole lot of stuff today, like wrap presents and test drive the Monkey Bread recipe, but I went shopping with Dad instead. I have two more people done! \o/ And even more wrapping. :(

I bought my brother a fucking broadsword for his Wii. IT IS SO CHEAP AND SHITTY LOOKING BUT, FUCK, IT'S A FUCKING BROADSWORD. I WANT TO USE IT.
Like Dad always says, "Never buy someone a gift you can't use yourself." :D
