(no subject)
My dad is hosting his family's Christmas dinner at his house this year. It's on Christmas evening and I have to bring something in a potluck manner. I'm thinking sugar cookies - those can't be too hard, right? Hilary has a recipe that tasted pretty freaking awesome and sounded easy. If anyone has a better idea for a simple to make baked good or meal type thing tell me! Oh, but no nuts - one of my cousins is allergic. :)
Because we're hosting Christmas dinner, we may be opening all our presents with Mum on Christmas Eve. *sigh* Every year my Christmas gets less and less traditional and more 'Hey, you've got two families now, deal with it'. :(
While I may be pouting about that, I'm smiling because I got this cute and functional bag at Mountain Equipment Co-Op. I was awed by all the cool shit they have in there, and how their shopping bags can go in the compost heap. But because I was a n00b I couldn't find the long johns. twentyfivepast or abbylee, if you know where they keep them let me know? Cold legs are bad. D:
I forgot to do half of my errands today, but I guess I'll do them tomorrow. If I remember. Urgh.
I swore I'd never shop from Amazon again, and I haven't. Except apparently I ordered something months ago that just shipped a couple days ago. So today I received a couple books and THE LONG WAY HOME *runs around screaming*. That's right, ladies, I will be spending the evening relaxing with Buffy & Co! Well, okay, not exactly - I still have tons of housework to do. DDDD: But maybe later? *sighs again*
Apparently I'm feeling a bit morose. Maybe I need one of those SAD lights?
