(no subject)
This weekend I mainlined Heroes. I struggled through the first seven episodes, then it got super-amazing, and then the finale! And now it's making me struggle again. :(
And I have a question!
So, Charlie. Did Sylar kill her? Because, like, Hiro went back in time to save her, but he couldn't, because she had the blood clot and would die anyway (or at least that's how it seemed to me?). So I kind of thought she got done in by the clot. But then in the 'previously on's they say that Sylar killed her. So he should have her power! Except he totally doesn't. Am I being thick or did they ret-con themselves badly?
And can I just say that the ret-con pisses me off? I yell at the tv every time they do that. IF YOU WANT THE VIEWERS TO KNOW SOMETHING, HOW ABOUT YOU PUT IT IN THE EPISODE INSTEAD OF TOSSING IT IN LATER, HUH? I mean, yes, it makes the clips shorter, but they could maybe be more creative and, like, when Peter says "It's my fault - they were looking for me" you show KBell with her lightning hands instead of changing it to say "The woman who did this", because when you're watching them back to back like I did it gives you a headache. And rage. You can't forget the rage.
Don't get me started on the fat chick who makes herself look thin, either. That - I can't even think about that without having an episode. >:(
And for the love of god, people, SOMEONE SAVE CLAIRE FROM THE DADDY-ISSUES BOY. (kidnapped by her father, has the powers of her bio-daddy, looks like her uncle. IF THAT IS NOT FUCKED UP I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS.)
AND OKAY: if Peter absorbs the powers of those around him WHAT ARE MAMA & PAPA PETRELLI'S POWERS? THIS SHOULD NOT BE SUCH A HUGE SECRET, SHOW. COME ON. HE GREW UP AROUND THEM, THEY SHOULD HAVE MANIFESTED BY NOW. FUCKERS.
And guess who's staying up late to watch tonight's episode? ME! \o/
