The Due South DVDs came today! \o/ abbylee and I were amused at the idiocy of the season 4 blurb, though. I had noticed that they screwed up CKR's name and called him 'Keith Callum Renne', like some sort of Francophone version of himself. Or something. But it gets better!

aphelant: *grabs S4* Uh... *reads* OMG I LOVE IT WHEN PEOPLE WHO CLEARLY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT ARE PUT IN CHARGE OF STUFF LIKE THIS!
The paragraph in question: 'Due South: The Final Season follows the exploits of RCMP Constable Benton Fraser (Paul Gross), an exemplary Canadian Mountie and his seen-it-all partner Detective Stanley Raymond Kowalski (Keith Callum Renne). [*rolls eyes*] After many adventures and laughs, Brenton Fraser [that is not a typo on my part] is heading back to Canada, [all season? really?] on his final case [for serious? that's one short fucking season. or would that make it longer?] with his American partner. This DVD release of the popular cult TV series includes the return of David Marciano as Detective Stanley Raymond Kowalski [AHAHAHAHAHA YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG] in the finale! [OMG YOU BITCHES SPOILED ME okay no I knew that BUT STILL]'
And of course now I'm picturing how different the show would have been if the roles had been reversed, ie: if Kowalski had been the first partner, and Vecchio had taken *his* identity. Has anyone written that? *makes grabby hands*
