(no subject)
So,
Things I liked:
- RON!! Rupert Grint was awesome. TOTALLY AWESOME.
- Harry's vision-dreams! They were choppy and cool and scary and AWESOME.
- Harry's Voldy-ness, with the head movements etc.
- Grawp. He was cute and they used him well. ;)
- LUNA! She was weird and looney and lovely. :DD
- Harry and Luna! I can't remember if there was that much friendshippiness in the book (more below on that) but I liked it.
- Ginny! Being all jealous of Cho and all awesome with the spells and shit!
- Snape, being all 'You used the last of the Veritaserum on Miss Chang', which could have been said by Umbridge but *wasn't* and I love him for that. I like to believe it was because he'd been in Harry's head and was giving him some kind of closure, but that is probably just me. But.
- Bellatrix! HBC was *exactly* who I'd always imagined would play her, and she was perfectly unbalanced. With the cackling &c.
- RALPH FIENNES. NO WORDS.
- Trelawney's sacking scene was *so awesome*, Emma Thompson and Maggie Smith were fantastic! (except for one thing, below)
Things that were okay:
- Cho. She didn't cry enough to make the kiss 'wet'.
- There should have been more Lupin. IT WAS A TRAGEDY.
- Sirius and Harry: too gay for words. I don't even - gah. GAH.
- Cho being Marietta, although there should have been, like, a falling out or something.
- Hermione didn't get almost dead, and that makes me sad. Harry needs more guilt, you guys. MORE. ALWAYS MORE. PILE IT ON.
- Tonks didn't get enough screen time to allow me to make a fair opinion of her. Right now it's: Your hair should have been pink. The hell.

Things that were bad:
- Kingsley. WHY IS HE AFRICAN?? That is *not* what fanfic the books led me to believe he would be like. I'm saddened. SADDENED.
- Dumbledore. I don't like it when he yells! I don't think he should have yelled at the kids in the courtyard. D:
- Um, the whole opening? If you hadn't read the books you wouldn't know what the fuck was going on. GIANT LEAPS IN LOGIC. EVERYWHERE. From Dementors to expulsion to rescue to fighting with H&R (which barely made sense) to the hearing. Dude. The fuck.
- WTF DRACO?? NEEDED MORE SCREEN TIME. HE MAKES THE BEST FACES EVER. AND HIS SNEER! *dies*
- Lucius/Bellatrix is not canon. Don't pretend it is, Mr. Yates. I'LL CUT YOU.
- I think Narcissa should have been introduced sooner than the next movie. Personally.
- ...did Ginny really break all the prophecies in the book? That was kind of...crazy.
- SIRIUS DID *NOT* GET AK'D IN THE BOOK, I BOUGHT IT TODAY AND I CHECKED AND WHAT. THE. FUCK. TOTALLY CHANGES THE CONNOTATION OF THE WHOLE...EVERYTHING. *EVERYTHING* I HAVE RAGE ABOUT THIS.
So, in general, I liked the movie. Obviously I have some major issues, but I really did enjoy it. GO SEE IT!
Aha, and I bought Die Hard 2 & 3 today, 2/$20 at HMV. SCORE! :DD
