As you can see, I did not go to the mall today. I'm going tomorrow. Because it doesn't go on sale until tomorrow as I suck at reading. :(
SUPERNATURAL TONIGHT.
AND OMG CSI.
Also, Jordan's claim of 'Don't clean the kitchen - I'll do it' was a bunch of bull-shit, as not only is it still dirty, it's actually dirtier. So I am running the dishwasher hopefully twice tonight, but laundry's got to get done too, so maybe only the once. And then the counters need to be scrubbed down. And the floor really really needs to be washed.
Once Dad brings over the new-to-us CD tower on Saturday I'll finish vacuuming the living room.
And there will be lots of laundry on Saturday/Sunday, except I will be out most of Saturday. Hm. Well, I can probably get a few loads done on Friday night.
I just realized there are clothes that need to be folded. *facepalm*
IT NEVER, NEVER ENDS.
At least my boys are on tonight and I can see my tv boyfriend (Greg) and my incestuous lovers (Sam&Dean).
AND NEW ATLANTIS ON MONDAY ZOMG.
I must find a box to put the recycling overflow. Because Jordan didn't take it out on Monday, and now there is stuff everywhere. Look, some flyers! A toilet paper tube! Some yoghurt containers!
Also, I think the litter boxes are going to have to go in the upstairs bathroom permanently, which means I'm going to be getting even less sleep than usual. Unless I can train Haiku not to LEAP ON MY FACE RANDOMLY, THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT. And maybe to not knock shit over all the time. Although when my vinyl wardrobe arrives I may actually be able to organize my room or something! \o/
We need a floor-to-ceiling cd rack. I don't think all our cds and dvds are going to fit in the new one. WOE.
And we need new lamps. Or, rather, lamps full stop. And working light fixtures. And I shut put away this fan sometime, but there's nowhere to put it, so maybe after the wardrobe arrives? GOD.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!
No, seriously. It never ends. I do the same stuff over and over and over again, and then it starts all over the next week. Maybe if I made a schedule? So I would not feel so overwhelmed when I realize everything needs to be done again?
Also, I don't remember if I posted about the rechargeable battery debacle (Jordan put alkaline batteries in my Ni-MH charger), but I just found Ni-Cd batteries in it now. I don't think these ones are wrecked, but there is a lot of corrosion in my charger. Again. But I have looked it up on the Interweb and have discovered that Ni-Cd batteries can be charged in Ni-Mh chargers! So, look, I learned something today! However, this cannot be done the other way around (read: Ni-Mh batteries in Ni-Cd charger). I FEEL SO SMART.
And I continue to find paper and plastic products in the garbage, when they could be in recycling. DILEMMA. I had 'the talk' with Jordan yesterday, and he was a bitch, so we'll see what happens.
Oh, and I need to eliminate the rotting plant materials in the pots. That have been rotting since August. And are now frozen. OOPS. But that will be pretty easy, just taking them (in the house, down the stairs, out the door) and dumping the contents in the dumpster out back. None of last year's 'But will it fit in a garbage bag?'-ness.
I AM DONE COMPLAINING AND WHINING NOW.
