Everyone who wants to has probably seen the casting spoiler for Series Four (30) of Doctor Who by now; if not, here. I've been thinking, and, despite the fact that my first impulse was to write a several hundred word lj post consisting entirely of the word, "Bollocks," I reckon it could be pretty good. After all, Tegan was a mouth on legs too, and didn't want to be there either, and she was a pretty good companion (although I want Turlough-substitute too please, Russell!), mostly. Also, for all the OG posters whine about Russell's gay agenda, I'm getting a bit fed up with his heterosexual agenda. Not every girl wants to shag the Doctor, OK. And, after all, she doesn't look like falling in love with him, and a bit of conflict in the TARDIS never hurts. It could be good. I'll miss Martha, though. Apart from the stupid in love with the Doctor subplot, she was brilliant.

Also, final of Heroes tonight and I am entirely unspoiled. Yes. And Torchwood is jolly good on the second viewing. But, I got taken to a Burt Bacharach concert for a corporate thing, Monday night. Still in shock. Sugar. Cloying. Pain.
