Going crazy...
Gah! Gah! Gah! I hate this time of year with a deep and abiding hatred. All I seem to be doing is working and not being able to think of Christmas, and I miss being able to keep up with lj and fandom and being able to sign in and chat to people. I think I'm going insane anyway. I want to go up to complete strangers and say "Are you feeling lucky punk?" Really. I'm hoping that's just stress...
And I desperately want to be able to read some Norse mythology after seeing Angel, and I don't even have time to look that up. But the Beast swallows that orb, that presumably represents the sun, and I can't remember properly, but I have this odd memory of in Norse mythology of the end of the world being done by this wolf (I think), I've forgotten its name, swallowing the sun, and I want to check, find out if that's right, see if there are any other parallels and I can't! Has anyone read any Norse mythology? Just not knowing the name is driving me crazy enough, and we don't have any books on the subject, and I don't have time to look it up, because I'd keep reading and be unable to stop. Please?
