Napoleon was really pleased with himself.
The successful Italian campaign was behind him, including the conquest and expedition to Egypt ... but unfortunately, the realization that Joseph did not love him, too.
Now he was First Consul of France, he had virtually unlimited power, he should not care about an unfaithful wife. But he did and he was sick of it. He regretted that he had shown his anger in front of his soldiers, scientists and friends. Napoleon was still thinking about a divorce after all, even if he had officially forgiven Josephine.
This night he couldn't sleep very well, this thoughts and even his dreams were full of the happenings of the last years. The marriage, the successes, the Losses...
When he woke up he found himself in a strange looking room. It was completely white - only one wall was colored with the tricolore of the Republic France. He stood up, still looking around curious. What a strange room...
