There's a coffin lying in the middle of a living room, top askew. Someone inside gasps and sits up quickly, looking around. This isn't where he went to sleep last night!
Matthew grips the sides of the coffin for support and blinks, looking around. This doesn't look like Francis's basement, or anywhere in the house for that matter.
If one looks closely, they might notice that his face is thinner and paler than it would be if he was entirely healthy, with dark circles under his eyes.
"Hello...?"
[Have a Matt from theatredesmoi's AU. Francis raised him, but hasn't changed him into a vampire--- though not from a lack of Matthew trying. The coffin is Francis's, but Matthew appears to have taken to sleeping in it. He misses Francis, partially because he's his father figure/lover, and partially because he's addicted to the vampire's blood. He'll be ecstatic to see any Francises, and happy to see his brother or other father figure (Arthur). Pretty much anyone else is a vampire in his AU who he doesn't know that well, not having been widely exposed to their society, but he's lost and confused... so he'll talk to anyone who knows where the hell he is right now.]
