China has found his big, strong dragon now, and a huge room. It looks like the big rooms back at home in his own palace, so he feels a bit more comfortable now.

But he's hungry, and the dragon is sleeping. Deeply.
"Ah..." he pouts a little, trying to reach a jar on a counter nearby, with cookies. It's too high up.

[Chun-Yan approaches slowly, carrying a backpack resembling a panda head.]

"Ni hao, little one. What is it that you want?"

She takes one glance into the cookie jar and purses her lips, instead reaching into her bag and digging out a small package.

"Wouldn't you rather have a mooncake?"

sorry, i sort of came out of nowhere.... i was sort of on the border of whether or not i wanted join.... but then i saw your post and i decided, "me! me! i wanna be china!" couldn't come up with a manry china username, so i went genderbent.

China looks up at her, and tilts his head. Mooncake...

"Yes please." he nods shyly.

She opens the wrapping and hands him the small pastry, obviously happy with his decision. He is so small.... She has the strong urge to snuggle him.

"What is your name, little one? Where are your parents?"

She blinks at the child, once. Twice. Should she tell him that she, too, was China? He was young and there was no need to make it anymore confusing than absolutely necessary, right? But then, not telling him seemed sort of untruthful.

Finally, she smiles and nods and says, "My name is Chun-Yan. If you need anything, you can always come to me." It was certainly no lie. The dragon resting nearby blinks lazily at her.

He tilts his head, and smiles at her. People who spoke Chinese were nice people in his mind, cause then he could understand them.

"You're pretty." he points out matter-of-factly.

She flushes with pleasure and slight embarrassment at the child's words.

"A-are you hungry?" she inquires. And then, "Do... do you even know where you are, little one?
