It’s a pleasant enough place, the garden down by the river. There’s a sense of sedate calm and stillness about the area, but even that doesn’t dispel the tension or the uneasy peace that seems to hover about the two Vietnams- two? Yes, two- sitting near it. Perhaps it even goes so far as to add to it, for few birds break the silence between them.
One of the Vietnams has a cake with her. It is pre-sliced into convenient pieces.
She offers some to the other.
"It’ll help, either way."
As her supposed twin takes the offered slice quietly, she takes her own piece to eat, before skipping a few stones into the river. It skims across the surface a few times before dropping in with an ungraceful plop.
[[A joint post with seninspirit, who is Overseas!Vietnam (like literally, that's written by both of us ufufufu). 30th April is Reunification Day/Fall of Saigon, so while it's a national holiday, it's both a happy and sad day. So in seninspirit's case, she'll be in remembrance of it. In dawnlotus' case, being that she's both North and South Vietnam, WHOO HOO BIPOLAR, she'll have mixed feelings over it. THEY'RE BOTH ACTUALLY QUITE TENSE. If you want to poke specifics, just say so in the comment. Different reactions to be had! :3 But they have delicious cake (which isn't a lie). This OOC note is also a summary of crap we were ranting to each other in IM. (seninspirit: It was actually a lot longer and more rambly and probably longer than the post in IM.
