If you happen to be passing by the ye olde well in the garden (Because every garden has one - DENY IT NOT), you'd hear angry mutterings and bangs. The sounds of scraping, like someone trying to climb out, echo. A hand makes it to the top, but a sudden shriek of terror and a loud thud shows the creature fell back to its dirty lair. Ew.
Still, the angry mutterings and scrapings continue. A few minutes later, the hand reaches out again, yet the same thing is repeated.
What the hell's in this well, anyways?
