[For a moment, he offered a smirk before smiling widely.] Where's your sense of fun? [Though the 'fun' of it depended upon the circumstance, probably.]
[He frowned at the words.] That'd depend on what you're doing to begin with! [Of course, coming from this person of all people, he was being a little hypocritical.]
[Good point. That is a rather laughable thought.] Sure. It squishes out the water and I don't have to waste the extra effort of taking off my socks. Plus it'd probably serve the purpose of pissing someone off since then someone else risks stepping in a wet spot, hopefully with socks.
[His frown only deepened.] But why go through the trouble of pissing someone off? [He's pretty much through with that, but it still happens without him trying anything anyway.]
Boredom, mostly. Plus it's fun to rile people up. It's no fun when things are quiet. [Though if he were to be perfectly honest, he's just messing with poor America.]
Sure it is. Generally speaking, nobody is looking for puddles on the floor so those with socks on will be wonderfully surprised. [To be fair, it's always fun to mess with America.]
