[Startled a bit. Looks up--oh, a girl version of his brother. I don't recall him meeting one before, but he figures, anyway, since most people don't look much like his brother. Gives a polite nod and returns to the reading]

Y-yes, I am. Doctor Ludwig Beilschmidt; rather nice to meet you. . . . ? It can be. . .fairly interesting. [It is now occurring to him that, sister from another world or not, this is a girl. Or, at the very least, looked like one. And because he couldn't look at her long enough to ensure that she was, in fact, female as far as he could tell(as he had some experience with having to do so on sight) he would simply have to stick with that. Curse his awkwardness around women.] Wouldn't that make him quite different from me, actually? Does your brother do anything interesting? [At least, with the knowledge that this was some female version of his brother, he could be less awkward.]
