[ Some people know that the birthday of the Confederates is December 20th. And those who know that often know they're the 'so what if it's my birthday, it just means I lived another year' types. Which is why, really, despite the day none or actually paying it any attention, to the point one or two may have completely forgotten, for that matter ( Read more... )

[France has got a cake. Quite a few, in fact - he's got a tray of miniature cakes. He's been doing a lot of baking lately (it's the Christmas season after all), and although he isn't currently aware that it's the CSA's birthday, he's more than happy to share.]

Ah, Confédération ! Care for a cake?

[ Oh, those cakes look good, too. Aaron's looking at them a moment before catching himself, turning his gaze up to France himself. ]

If yer offerin', I wouldn' say no.

Of course I'm offering~! It would be terrible to deny someone of my gourmet desserts.

[He smiles easily and presents the tray to Aaron.]

Help yourself ♥

When yer displayin' 'em li'e that, it sure would be.

[ He seems a bit torn between the two chocolately looking ones, before picking the third. ]

Why thank ya~

The marquise au chocolat, good choice.

[Then again, either of the three would have been a good choice. France sets the tray on a nearby end table and settles beside Aaron.]

So, anything excited planned for the weekend?

[ Doesn't verbally respond: too busy eating~ we will assume eating utensils are included

He does move to give France more room to get comfortable though. ]

Not particularly. Too cold ta go outside. [ More like he's a huge wimp when it comes to cold but is too restless to like staying inside all the time. ]

[Of course. He chuckles, more than used to colder weather.]

Ah, but isn't that the appeal of winter? Getting so cold you have to go inside and bundle yourself up in a coat or a lover... comme c'est romantique !

No...not my thang. Don' care fer cold, don' care fer bein' cold.

[ Hates cold, afraid of hates snow, hates winter in general. He'll take his warmer climates, thankyouverymuch. ]

In a way, it's a little... drôle. A hot-blooded person such as yourself afraid of a little chill.

[He smirks, but the jab isn't meant to be rude, just harmless ribbing. France throws an arm over the back of the sofa and a quirked brow at Aaron.]

I ain't 'fraid of it. [ Liar liar, Aaron~ He gives France a little pout, likewise turning slightly to face him. He takes a bite of cake before he speaks again. ] I just disli'e it.

Oho, I'm sure you're not~ [It's very obvious he is sure of just the opposite.]

So, no plans for the outside... but none for inside either? I hope you weren't planning to sit around and wait for me to bring you delicious food all weekend ♥

Of course I'm not. [ So there. On nom nom cake. ]

While I wouldn' say no ta that, there ain't much ta do inside either. What, ya got some idea?

[He actually laughs at that point, clapping a hand on the CSA's shoulder (not too hard, didn't want the poor boy to choke).]

You do realize you are speaking to moi, la nation étonnante de la France, oui ? Of course I have ideas!

Were you interested in a group event or... perhaps something more intimate~?

ingreatdeeds December 26 2011, 02:27:14 UTC
[ Group or intimate, what are you--oh. Oh. He did kinda walk right into that one. ]

...let me guess. It's somethang involvin'...that ain't it?

[Yes, he did. BUT HEY, there's nothing like group sex to keep warm and enjoy the holidays.

Besides, not all of France's ideas are perverse. One of them is caroling. Another is also caroling, but obnoxiously to annoy England (or America - birthday boy's choice).]

If you want it to be something involving "that," it can certainly be arranged ♥

[ Well, it'd certainly keep warm atleast.

Normally, Aaron might just say 'surprise me' or something of the like to simply have the other person pick...but he has this odd feeling that may not be the smartest idea with France. SO. ]

Ya would say somethang li'e that. I shouldn' even be surprised. [ He isn't. That exasperated kind of amused would be more accurate. Except it's not so much haha amused as 'I should have known' amused. ]
