[Today if you open a door you might happen upon a library.
It's peaceful and cozy and just right for curling up with a book - but this library is a little unusual.
Some of the books are named things like 'HIGH FANTASY', 'WESTERN', 'HISTORICAL FICTION', 'SPACE OPERA', 'UNDER THE SEA', 'BLOODY HORROR', 'HAUNTED HOUSE', and 'SUPERNATURAL'.
If you open one of these generically-titled books, you'll have an unusual experience.

((OOC: It's a choose-your-own-adventure thread. If you open a book your character gets sucked inside and the 'story' will interact with the character based on their choices. Feel free to have more than one person in a thread with a book!
If your character dies in the book (as is frequent in the Choose Your Own Adventure books, orz), you just get spit back out. If you get a good ending, you also get spit back out. Basically it's just ridiculous, lacking-in-consequence silly.
