Aug 08, 2011 13:09

Greetings to you O adventurers of the Great Outdoors.  Today I propose to you a little game.  A quest even.  Before me is a stack of cards.  On the back of each of these card is written the name of an item you must find and bring back to this very spot.  I believe you common folk refer to it as a 'Scavenger Hunt'.

As I am feeling incredibly good ( Read more... )

Sounds fun!

[pulls card]

Ancestral Gore Gauntlet

....
Who wants to help me find an old gauntlet meant for putting big bloody holes in things?

Waaah, that sounds scary! What could anybody need something like that for?

Clearly for killing people.

S-sounds like most gauntlets, actually. Although a goring gauntlet - that's more assassin territory, don't you think?

I thought you had a lot of that sort of thing in your house?

[completely misinformed Lithuania is completely misinformed. His entire knowledge of Italy is (a)architecture he tries to copy, and (b)the Vatican is in the middle.]

V-ve....Assassins do need weapons, I guess...

Ve!? N-no! Why would I have those kinds of things?! No no no no! That's more Germany, I think....

[?] No? Hm! I heard tales of families that even ate one another! Or was that in your ... ah, your sister's half?

Germany is so literary, though. Really, assassins? I thought he was into that, ah, Marx fellow?

A-anyway, let's go find this Antique Gore Gauntlet! [marches off into the woods!]

((Where we can have adventures with spiders and snakes and other nasty things! =D))

V-ve...Fratello does have the mafia...

Marx? That was so long ago...I meant the gore part, actually....

A-aah, wait up! Don't leave me here alone! [Don't mind him being clingy. The forest is scary!]

Mafia! That's the word you use, I see!

[Marx was long ago? Oh, he gets it] Actually, where I come from he's still alive! I get his books published in my language. [Mostly because Russia hates it so much.] But you must be from my future. Is Germany into gore? I know Prussia is.

[is clung to!] Forests like this remind me of home! Do you have many forests, Italy?

Ohh~! You're from the past! How cool! Germany makes a lot of gory movies! So he must like them, right?

Ve, not a lot. There's been a lot of deforestation actually...It's caused a lot of problems with floods and mudslides.

What are ... movies? [totally perplexed!]

That's awful! How do you cut down trees so fast that it causes problems like that?

And where do you suppose the camp counselors would put a gore gauntlet?

((LET'S ENCOUNTER SOME HORRIBLE HAUNTED HOUSE OR SOMETHING.))

Ve? ...Oh! They're like moving pictures! They tell stories~.

A lot of it started with Grandpa....So it was a long time ago for both of us, si?

Umm....I dunno! But I hope it's not scary!

((ooc: YES. SOMETHING HORRENDOUS.))

[a face of steel! He might actually kind of resemble a determined Germany right now] I-I'm afraid that since some of the counselors are Russia, it's likely this is the sort of place the gauntlet would be kept ...

Also, that bird resembled Prussia's, now that I think about it ...

[this is definitely a trap.]

[pep-talks Italy!] We can do this! Are we not nations, with glorious histories!? How can we let this t-terrifying house stand between us and our goal!?

Absolutely. finta_femmina August 10 2011, 02:49:04 UTC
M-Mr Russia...? Vee...

V-very easily! Y-you go! I'll wait out here! All...By myself....V-veee! N-no! We'll both stay out here! We can look somewhere else!

Y-yeah, this is definitely something Mr. Russia would do ...

[determined!] We should go now, before it gets scarier in the dark tonight! I - promise I won't leave you alone!

[Miss Italy reminds him a little of Poland. Although he's only like this when he's shy, he does okay in battle. He does NOT know Italy's glorious history of surrender, though.]
