IM AMURIKAN hello caps still onihonJune 10 2011, 12:39:25 UTC
He blinked and tilted his head, leaning back when she shied away. Ah. She hadn't seen someone like him before. He wasn't quite used to that considering his world but he had gotten used to it here.
She hiccuped, trying not to cry. It took her a moment to process the almost gibberish-sounding words before realizing he was speaking English. Her's wasn't so good(and that normally would make her nervous, but she felt like she could do it today, somehow) and she rubbed her eyes, then nodded.
Although, now that she thought about it, should she be worried? Blue people generally were choking. . . .
Unlike his canon copies, he's never learned German so they'll have to work something out. He just nodded, leaning down a bit more, trying to make himself seem smaller not wanting her to be even more scared. He may try to be civilised but he's still mostly animal.
"My name is Kiku. You have no reason to be afraid of me."
At least she understands. Besides, HQ is a gift-giver, so she can speak a bit better, simply for everyone's convenience. She backed up a bit more, although she didn't look like she'd be running away. That he was crawling at all was strange to her, and he looked something like a cat pouncing at this point. But she trusted him not to hurt her, as he'd said so.
"I. I am Liechtenstein." She had a very quiet voice(there wasn't much of a reason for her to be using it, so it rarely went very high above a whisper.) Even more quiet than normal from fear.
The Liechtensteins he knew were quiet so it don't strike him as odd, especially with his hypersensitive hearing. He could still sense her fear though and it made him frown.
"Its nice to meet you," he went even lower, this time to bow.
She nodded and curtsied, although it was strange to do dressed like this.
"It's nice to meet you also, Kiku." She had been waiting for him to take her hand and shake it or something, like Spain had done when they met, but she decided that he couldn't while busy crawling. "It's bright."
"Modern?" She rubbed her eyes, still mostly only seeing white with little distinction between shades, but the haze from the light was starting to wear down, so she could see better.
"It was 1724." She remembered. It had been five years since Holy Roman Empire declared her a principality. She remembered that year at all costs. Although she didn't quite understand why he was calling her Lili, she simply assumed it was short for her nickname, and that the "chan" was "chen". He spoke a little oddly in general, after all, but she didn't think much of it what with her own, accented speech.
LET'S GO DOWNSTAIRS IT'S /MUCH/ LESS BRIGHT THERE, AND IT'S NICE AND WARM. . . .gluehendkieselJune 12 2011, 15:29:15 UTC
She nods. She's been alive quite some time as well, and thinks change quickly, but she's usually got some time for things to develop, as opposed to simply stepping into the far future.
As he started sitting up she decided to close and rub at her eyes once more, hoping that the fog from brightness would be gone when they were open again.
She blinked her eyes open again, and it was less hazy and more blurry, but she stares up at him until everything cleared. Yes, he was most certainly blue, but she wasn't so worried about that anymore.
Instead she was screaming and crying suddenly in panic, after a pause to process everything.

[She takes a few steps back, shaking. She's never seen a blue creature before, not one that wasn't maybe a blutterfly or a fish. . . .]

He sits up, his tail curling around his ankles, the fluffy tip of it brushing the floor.
"I can take you somewhere less bright."
