England, horrified, throws himself without a thought in the water to save his pet. However... there is a problem. In his haste, he completely forgot he did not know how to swim himself. He reaches his poor kitten

[ Logically, RonRon knows jumping in water in winter is a bad idea...but she's dealt with worse and it's not like she has time to deliberate. Setting Lil Cottonball on the ground safely away from the water, she quickly shrugs off her coat and dives in. ]

[He struggles for a moment, trying to swim but it just looks like he is flailing in the water instead.]

[ Thankfully for them, she's a good swimmer and doesn't take long until she's beside him. ]

Here, hang onta my shoulders.

[ She has her back towards him, though is still looking over her shoulder to make sure he heard and using one hand to tug him closer. ]

[Ebgland reaches for her and hangs her shoulder successfully. With a hand, he grabs his kitten and hugs it close to make sure he will not lose it.]

[ And she quickly swims back to the shore, carrying him on her back until she makes it to her kitten and where she dropped her coat before kneeling down so he can stand on his own. ]

[He coughs a moment, throwing up water from his mouth and wipes his mouth before checking his kitten.

The kitten shivers and England tries to warm it as much he can.]

I'm dandy [a sneeze] Thank you a lot for rescuing me, lady...

[He finally looks at his rescuer and freezes. No, that could not be... Lady Confederates? Right?]

[ She's putting her coat around England without much thought, rubbing his back soothingly.

Even if HQ changed her gender, it didn't affect the scar on her cheek, which atleast would give away this is actually RonRon and not the Alice England knows. ]

[England throws a grateful look at her and notices the scar on her cheeks. Wait... Aaron?]

But I have to, you saved our life... most people I know would have just happily watching me drown and waiting for my death.

[ It's not until she picks up Lil Cottonball and lets him perch on her shoulder before offering a hand to England to help him stand that she notices the surprised look. ]

[He looks at the kitten comfortably curled in his arms, as drenched as himself.]

Myrdin is more or less fine. I think he'll be better if we find him something to dry his fur...

[ She leads them to a room with a fireplace, getting it lit before heading towards the door. ]

Wait here 'n git warmed up, 'll go find some towels. 'Nythang else ya'll need?
