So calm on music night. He seemed like he was adapting so well.

Now it seems very different, as he appears in the door of the infirmary. His eyes are wide and feverish, and the color has gone out of his skin. He puts a hand on the doorframe to steady himself.

"Doc? You in here?"

Simon glances up, startled.

"...Jim? What's wrong?"

Because something clearly is.

He comes into the room, his eyes darting back to the door, which he immediately closes and then leans against. His hands go through his short stubs of hair.

"There's a problem. I'm... I'm insane."

"...okay." He's not about to contradict the man, but... "What makes you say that?"

"I was about ready to attack Harper because I thought he might have my friends. And now, I'm seeing monsters in the halls."
